Sunday buffet is great. This is definitely at the top of our list for special occasions.

Best Chinese food in town

Cheap and good food.

Buffet is.....eh! Cashier was not very friendly. Waitress led us to our table while she was talking on the phone. She was prompt with serving our drinks and made sure she was back to check on us.

Some of our favorite items are tso's chicken (ask for spicy or it isn't spicy at all), pork lo mein, and crab rangoon, and dumplings (just right ratio of dough to filling, not too big or too small). Quick service. Reasonable prices.

Nice quick Chinese buffet to grab a bite to eat at. King China is by no means the best Chinese I have ever had, but also is not the worst. All of the staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is never packed so you can get a table with no wait. Considering the choice of restaurants within 30 minutes of Calais, I would say King China is the best bet for decent Chinese food.

Mediocre quality food at best. It's the only Chinese restaurant for many towns so they enjoy it not knowing any better. Aside from the food quality visits are always in very good atmosphere because of excellent staff who are always checking on you.

Website says take out only. When i went to place a take out order they didnt answer phone and appeared to be shut down completely. Please update your website. I was extremely bummed out i couldnt get my chinese food craving yesterday.

Didn't expect to find a good Chinese restaurant in Calais but it was recommended by the pharmacist at Walmart. They have a large menu and the two items we ordered we're great and priced Right.

Great food and friendly service. The labels to state whether the food has "MSG" or not is a very good addition. Some of my favorites are the thin white noodles, bbq chicken (on the stick), and vegetable shrimp. The lemon chicken (menu dish) is awesome too!

Food is good 👍. It was even better during a power outage and I had to drive to eat. They do a good job.

Its okay. Its the only chinese resteraunt in calais now :( The buffet is not that good unless you go there when they just put it out. If you order food though Its bomb 👌. My sister & I went to King China restaurant on a whim while in Calais. We ordered off the menu from combination plates section. We each ordered and decided to share so we could taste both mains. Our delightful waitress recommended the appetizer Crab Rangoon so we ordered that plus the Spring Rolls & then Moo Goo Gai Pan and the Chicken Chow Mein. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the slight garlic flavor in the Chow Mein..The flavors were layered and not as salty as most Chinese food.. Both of us said we would certainly visit again and also noted that with the appetizer we really only needed one main to share. There was far too much food for us for lunch.

Whenever we are in Calais we go for their buffet. Always good.

My family and I, went and had Buffet. On my second plate I was found an EYELASH stuck to my Crab Ragoon. Needless to say I was done with that! I went for some cheesecake and I found a LONG BLACK HAIR!!!! I love the food at this establishment but if I got 2 hairs in 1 day, then imagine how much hair is actually in the Rest of the Buffet.

I went to King China restaurant in Calais, Maine, with a friend of mine who is been there several times before. We did the buffet and it was very tasty. There was a good variety of items and most were quite flavorful. My personal favorites were the chicken with vegetables, sesame chicken, spring rolls and chicken teriyaki skewers. The "piece de resistance" was the delicious crab rangoon. My friends Praise of the crab rangoon was spot-on. It's like a deep fried wonton accepted has crab and cream cheese in the middle. So so good and worth the trip alone just for that. I've never encountered this menu item before and we'll be looking for it anytime I go to a Chinese restaurant in the future. Check it out.

This food is awesome, the staff is friendly and open on christmas day... the food was flavorful and staff was very fun and helpful. I recommend this location, its a family ritual for us to go there christmas day. Thank you

Food is horrible. Always either overcooked or raw. Had at least one food item I didn’t finish every time I was there for fear of food poisoning. Not a single item in the buffet tastes good.

Second time the have given me a bill for buffet and taken it back to change the price, first time was 10 mins before we left they changed it to supper, this time they took it away and charged us for my step daughter who had one piece of chicken, the waitresses are amazing, owner, not so much

I have only had take out and lunch buffet. The take out is good. The buffet is ok. The only problem with the buffet is the items are the same. I am not sure if they have changed in over a year. So if you go here infrequently like I do, it is ok, but nothing to get excited about. Tables are clean and atmosphere is typical American Chinese.

Absolutely LOVE this place. I check out Chinese food restaurants everywhere I travel but this is my favorite. My friends and I have to travel an hour and a half and cross an international border to get there and still go at least once a month. Buffets are excellent as is the quality of the food and their prices. I recommend first the Buffet and the (Pupu) platter... Not entirely sure of the spelling LOL

Quick place to eat but some of the food on the Buffett tasted really old. There was some things that tasted good though so they made up for it

I was disappointed that the chicken fingers no longer have batter on them and it seems like they tweaked their crab rangoon. Over all it was good, but I really prefer the original chicken fingers.

I like it first buffet i ever ate from as long as the rite cook is on most of the time great food.
